This is the feel one gets when "Pay N Go" and his partner Pam are performing. The 16.2h leopard Appaloosa is bold and purposeful, and consistenly gives everything he's got to the rider he adores. They devour an arena with their own unique brand of explosive drama tempered by effortless elegance.
Pam claims they are a match made in heaven, and after hearing their story, which more resembles a fairy tale, that statement is more than believeable. Spectators have been known to wipe away tears as they experience the excitement and love these two radiate. "Pay N Go" has gone from war horse to a breathtaking Grand Prix horse. The whole world has come to love him as much as Pam does... including Paul McCartney. After a thorough nationwide search, Paul concluded that "Pay N Go" was the most highly trained and exquisite Appaloosa in America, and honored the pair with an invitation to perform inside the church in Manhattan where he held a memorial service for his beloved wife, Linda. Paul flew "Pay N Go" and Pam to New York where "Pay N Go" with his usual haughty aire, rose to the occasion, walked past the reporters and crowds, climbed up the narrow ramps which were laid on the 2 flights of stone steps leading into the huge gothic catherdral, and took everyone's breath away as he performed a spectacular Spanish walk across the transept. As he left the church he received a standing ovation. Paul still writes Pam notes, sending little gifts and telling her to give "Pay N Go" hugs and carrots from him and his kids. | |||||||||||||||||||||

Pam and "Pay N Go" are world renowned, and have had a very successful show career which began on the Appaloosa circuit. They had numerous Hunter Under Saddle wins including Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio along with placing 3rd in Snaffle Bit Reining and 5th in Western Riding at Nationals.
They finished their tour on the Appaloosa Circuit with 2 World Championship titles in Dressage and then went on to find their place inthe Ranks of Open Dressage, which back then was a bold move. In spite of his loud color, he earned the respect of the traditionally conservative European judges with his flamboyant movement and dead on accuracy. Year after year, he beat the European Warmbloods at their own game. The pair has an amazing show record, which includes 5 American Banker's Insurance Group National titles, 7 Southwest Dressage Championship titles and 23 United States Dressage Federation Year End Championships, which are called "The All Breeds Awards". But that's not all.... "Pay N Go" was also decorated with The American Warmblood's highest award, the "5 Star Recognition Achievement Award" for outstanding performance scores, and was inducted into the Appaloosa Sport Horse Hall of Fame. "Pay N Go" has been immortalized as a Breyer® Horse Model and was celebrated as guest of honor at Breyer Fest® in Lexington, Kentucky. |
